Overview
An experienced Upholster is required for a Manufacturing business based in Newton Abbot. Based in a modern facility within a supportive and close-knit team. Main Duties: · To take structural seating components and upholster using glue/tacks, Completing the upholstery of chairs · Use of a variety of fabrics such as Vinyl, PU, etc. · Assemble the components into chair frames · Producing products of high quality within Company performance standards · Aware of Health and Safety, both in the work area, and elsewhere on site · Contributing to continuous improvement activities The ideal candidate will have the following: · Good hand to eye coordination and attention to detail · Ability to follow written Work Instructions and meet quality standards · Being able to work as part of a small team but also able to work on your own initiative · Willing/eager to cross train to master multiple products/tasks Hours - Monday to Thursday 0730-1630 & Friday 0730-1315
