Overview

Bank Radiographer UHB is one of the largest teaching hospital trusts in England, serving a regional, national, and international population. During this National Pandemic we are looking for additional Diagnostic Radiographers to support the workforce in providing excellent care to our patients. UHB’s multiple sites include the Queen Elizabeth Hospital in Birmingham, and the HGS Hospitals which include; Birmingham Heartlands Hospital in East Birmingham, Good Hope Hospital in Sutton Coldfield, Solihull Hospital and Community Services, and Birmingham Chest Clinic, allowing people to be treated as close to home as possible. We are seeking an enthusiastic and well-motivated Radiographer to support the delivery of our mission and vision, Pioneering the future of Medical Imaging… an inclusive and progressive diagnostic imaging service delivering excellence for all, now and for generations to come. Successful candidates will provide a high quality service to adults, children and young people using best practice at all times promoting a positive patient and family experience embracing sensitivity to individual patient’s needs. We will provide an allocated mentor and an induction program to ensure competence, knowledge of processes and procedures, as well as full training for appropriate use of PPE. There will be opportunities to participate in the 7-day shift system covering out-of-hours service including weekends and bank holidays.
