QA Tester manual

Job Title: QA Tester (manual) Salary: Up to 35k Location: Exeter Acorn is searching for an experienced Software Tester to focus at all stages of the development life-cycle for a leading IT Solutions provider based in Exeter. If successful you will join the companies highly Agile development team. The company build bespoke internet-based solutions for a variety of clients UK wide. You will focus on testing products and providing analysis reports to ensure each product is fit for purpose and delivered to the required quality. You will get the chance to learn new & innovative automated testing methods & tools. Responsibilities include: Writing and delivering robust tests at each level of the software development cycle. Analysing and reporting on test results. Working within a cross functional Agile development team supporting a team of Developers. Essential experience: Service level, UI level, unit, integration and non-functional testing. Proven record of successful software testing in complex commercial environments. Exposure to Scrum and BDD development methodologies. Ability & willingness to learn new technologies and processes. Benefit From: Up to £35,000 bonus.
