Overview

Job purpose Within Advisory, our key objective is to help firms raise standards thereby enabling them to safeguard their reputation, mitigate regulatory risk and drive better outcomes for their business and customers. Job descriptions Tasks Be Huntswood's technical expert across sectors such as Consumer Finance, Retail Banking, Life & General Insurance and Pensions, Wealth & Investments Be an ambassador for Huntswood across the industry and lead on regulatory, client and industry stakeholder relationships. Responsible for identifying, initiating and leading sales bids and other business development activities. Play an active role in account management with clients. Create and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders. Be a technical advisor for case management projects, continually reviewing, adapting and developing it in order to achieve the financial target. Key performance indicators Delivery on financial and organisational targets in line with the Huntswood Balanced Score Card. Development of good working relationships with other key stakeholders across the business to ensure a joined up and collaborative approach. Continual development of the reputation of Advisory through diverse media including client meetings and networking, external publications, attendance at events. Person specification Expert knowledge and experience in Financial Services regulation, retail Conduct Risk related issues and extensive experience across one or more of the sectors listed above. Comprehensive and detailed understanding of the FCA including both current and emerging issues affecting firms. Experience of liaising at a senior level to form strong working relationships. Broad knowledge of UK retail Financial Services, including regulation, market, competitor activity and industry trends. Experience of operational requirements on engagements. Excellent communicator with the ability to convey technical information to non-technical stakeholders. A can-do attitude and a will to get involved and support the wider business with practical solutions to technical challenges.
