Head of People & Culture London (Holborn) Circa £60,000 per annum plus an excellent benefits package Permanent Join the Royal College of Anaesthetists to work on some of the biggest issues facing our members, healthcare and the work of anaesthetists - the largest single specialty group of doctors within UK hospitals. The Royal College of Anaesthetists is committed to improving patients’ safety, wellbeing and outcomes through the maintenance and advancement of standards in anaesthesia, critical care and pain medicine. Through our services, anaesthetists are well trained and supported, and we uphold a central role in the development and delivery of high quality healthcare across the UK, and increasingly internationally. The Head of People & Culture will be responsible for developing and delivering the College’s People plan. Your duties will include: Defining an organisational culture that delivers staff performance in balance with people wellbeing Managing the HR team and wider HR relationships Providing consistent and timely advice across the business Setting and managing the performance appraisal cycle Ensuring the People plan in implemented and monitored effectively Advising and implementing appropriate policies to develop our talent acquisition, learning & development and employee engagement strategies
