URGENT Opportunities for German Translators and Customer Support We have been given the opportunity to assist a multi-lingual organisation based in Glasgow (G3 area), with some exciting new language based requirements. Due to expansion within their German teams, we now have opportunities available for anyone looking to use their German language skills on a daily basis and build their career around their knowledge of this language. The Company: This is not your typical contact centre You will work within a laid back, friendly and supportive environment, where working individually and as part of a team is paramount. This organisation offer a great culture and are the number one specialist provider to the gaming industry. The Role: We have opportunities available within two departments: 1) Translation You will work in a specialised multi lingual project team, responsible for ensuring the linguistic content within a video game is correctly localised into the specific language and that the text is displayed correctly when seen in-game, while also detecting and reporting any linguistic flaws. 2) Customer Support You will be responsible for assisting customers with game related issues, i.e password resets etc via email and telephone. Experience: · Fluent to a native level in German, particularly reading & writing · Strong understanding of German culture · Excellent attention to detail, strong communication skills and knowledge of Microsoft Office suite - particularly Microsoft Excel · Knowledge of the current generation of games consoles and PCs, and the latest mobile platforms (preferred) · Excellent observation and attention to detail with patience, perseverance and good concentration · Strong communication skills both verbally and in writing What we can offer you in the role: · Various shifts patterns available both Full Time and Part Time, both temporary and permanent · Regular team competitions with great prizes’ and inclusion into an extensive social calendar. · Long term and progression opportunities are available for the right employees who can demonstrate necessary skills and attitude. · Located next to the City Centre/West End, with excellent transport links. · Amenities include a gym, café, nursery, ATM, car valeting/charging, dry cleaning, free cycle checks & parking with access to a variety of local bars & restaurants.
