C# Developer / £50,000 - £80,000 / Hammersmith, London Build out some of the most innovative platforms in London – No Legacy coding You will be joining a Trading start-up recognised for their achievements within Green and Renewable Energy. Building a new engineering team in London to focus on TDD, best practice and new methods to stream and build upon data – think Data Lakes. Think of this as a brand new engineering team with a greenfield environment, backed by some of the largest VC firms in London allowing them to compete with the likes of EON and British Gas. You will be responsible for the build, deployment and release of your code straight through to production, giving you freedom over the MVP into Proof of Concepts to be used by the internal traders. This will allow you to influence the architecture and implement best practice like TDD and CI/CD methods as they look to use Docker and Kubernetes. If guiding the vision of the platform, working with like-minded engineers and being given the freedom from the Founders of the business to build greenfield, then do not hesitate Requirements : Experience building platforms in C# (ASP.NET Core/MVC) Knowledge of REST APIs and Microservices Understanding of OOP principles Experience using SQL Server or similar Relational Databases like MySQL Agile experience across Pair Programming, TDD/BDD, CI/CD and Scrum Excited about using Cloud and modern containerisation like Docker/Kubernetes/AWS/ Azure/Google Cloud Current Tech Stack: C#, .NET Core, Azure, AWS, Docker, Kubernetes, Kafka, Elasticsearch, Terraform, Git, REST APIs, MVC, MS SQL, ReactJS, JavaScript ES6, TDD/BDD This job was originally posted as www.totaljobs.com/job/89822425
