Overview

CSP Recruitment are looking for the best Warehouse Operatives out there We are recruiting for several people to join a well known global business at their National Distribution Centre in Lutterworth. Hours are: Mon to Fri on a 2pm - 10pm basis, so no working weekends or bank holidays, but you will need to be flexible with your working hours. The positions of Warehouse Operative are temporary to permanent, but give a real opportunity to progress into a long term career. There is an initial 13 week probation period and upon successful completion of this, you will be taken on permanently. MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES FOR THE WAREHOUSE OPERATIVE: Goods in, check in & replenishment Picking products Sorting the products for completion of orders Wrapping and then loading onto lorries General housekeeping You will also be required to appropriate equipment such as Mechanical Handling Equipment BACKGROUND & SKILLS FOR THE WAREHOUSE OPERATIVE: You will have previous experience from working in Manufacturing or Warehousing and be used to a busy, fast paced environment. Be physically fit due to some heavy lifting of products Be able to work at a fast pace whilst maintaining a high level of accuracy & quality Be a team player, have a positive attitude and be able to 'get stuck in' to what is needed to be done Some knowledge of Health & Safety awareness would be beneficial Strong communication skills (written & verbal) Ideally drive and have your own transport or be confident that you can get to the location via public transport. The role offers variety as you will be given the opportunity to become multi-skilled to work across the various divisions of the Distribution Centre.
