Overview

Our client, a world-famous talent company is seeking a highly competent Second Assistant who will thrive in a fast paced, music related environment. Key responsibilities will include: Handling emails, telephone enquiries, handling guestlists and meeting and greeting visitors. Maintaining and updating of artist date sheets, upcoming show sheets, weekly sales and database records. Overseeing a busy schedule of artists. Issuing and filing Promoter and Artist Terms of Business, chasing as necessary. Issuing UK work permits for non-EU artists performing in UK. Chasing management for relevant information. Occasional reception cover and working with other agents or agent assistants. Updating roster both within the office and online. Working with promoters of various departments within these companies after confirmation of shows/tour until completion. Liaising extensively with Artists/Artist’s managers, Tour managers to ensure requirements are met. Ensuring Promoters receive Artists Riders, Technical Specifications and Press Kits. Coordinating National Ads. Sending promo material automatically on show confirmation/ general artwork for approval. Obtaining Ticket links for tours and send to Artist Managers. Issuing show confirmations and deal memos. Raising and issuing contracts using bespoke software. Occasionally raising invoices for Artists. Working closely with Artists Accountants and dealing with promoters on tax issues and required paperwork. Ensuring Artist contract templates are kept up to date. Requirements: Genuine passion for UK Urban scene. Proven track record working within the live music agency world. Highly organised multi-tasker. Excellent time management. Confident in a pressurised environment. Fast learner. Proficient on Mac computers, Apple Emails. Proficient on Microsoft Excel and Word. Knowledge of online productivity tools such as Dropbox, Google Drive, Evernote and others. Please note that due to the volume of submissions, only successful candidates will be contacted.
