This 3 month fixed term contract Financial Modeller role is in need of someone to come in and help build the construction and refurbishment division of this leading Building and Construction group who are based in Milton Keynes and run high profile construction projects across the UK and now part of a leading European Group Client Details This company based in Milton Keynes are a leading Building and Construction group who are innovative in their approach and run numerous large scale construction and refurbishment projects across the UK for which they require new financial models to be put in place as to impact and influence strategic decision on new sites and investment Description Significant European growth and investment has led to higher demands on their finance team, with a finance change programme underway to reflect the increasing investment and desire to refurbish current sites and construct new ones Financial Modeller duties and responsibilities; To provide modelling expertise to the FP&A team and wider operational teams to include building and construction departments You will develop expertise across all areas including Operations, Commercial, Central overheads and planning modules, understanding the business's strategic and operating plans and developing models and approaches to support decision-making Forecasting/planning across all aspects of business performance including Budget and Outlook Setting Monthly reporting and analysis, Re-forecasting, Business case evaluation and 5yr Planning. Profile Key experience and characteristics for this Financial Modeller role experience creating financial models business partnering capability across numerous operations teams analysis capability to build models to include ROI, labour reports, break even and forecasting to a detailed level An advanced Excel modeller with strong analytical skills and the ability to highlight current or potential issues. Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to build strong personal relationships and credibility at all levels. Job Offer Parking on site with a commitment off a minimum of 3 months. Ownership and authority to impact decision making and a role where you are require dot business partner with construction and project teams along with the core finance function in order to aid decision making and investment levels
