Overview
Our client, based in Gloucestershire, is currently recruiting for an M&E Surveyor on a six month, temporary to permanent contract. Our client is a top performing Arm’s Length Management Organisation (ALMO) and is proud to make a difference to the lives of thousands of people living in the homes they manage and the communities within which they operate. The position is due to start immediately on a full time basis. The hourly rate is negotiable based on experience for this position. The ideal candidate must have experience of Inspections within Domestic Properties and hold a full UK Driving License. Duties will include (but not limited to): Assess installations for Electrical and Gas components to ensure contractors are fulfilling obligations Assist in the procurement and tendering of specialist M&E Contractors and monitor their work on site Identify needs for repairs and planned works within Gas and Electric works Created specifications of work for planned maintenance projects Take ownership and responsibility in ensuring that all installations focus on future sustainability Show evidence that reduction in carbon emissions is highlighted in all work Skills, knowledge and expertise required: Working on maintenance projects Liaise with contractors Rewards and Benefits: • Four day working week • Attractive work setting Flexible working Car parking provided Working hours: 37 ½ hours per week Monday - Friday 9am-5pm (flexible working offered) Please note that you require recent experience to apply for this role.
