Overview
Process Operator Process Operator with a background in a water treatment / heavy industrial environment required to work for a Main Contractor based in Anglian Water. Your duties will include: Operation, control and optimization of Water's treatment plants On site sampling of crude sewage, settled sewage, final effluent, raw, activated, thickened, hydrolysed and digested sludges Related sewage, effluent and sludges tested on site for Total suspended solids, dry solids, volatile solids, ammonia, chemical oxygen demand, volatile fatty acids, alkalinity and pH Basic maintenance and operation of plant Presses(specialist) and associated equipment Daily and general duties including: SCADA operation, blanket dips, jar tests, biogas sampling, sludge cooler flushing, data logging and chemical handling The successful Process Operator will; Demonstrate an understanding of Process Engineering through experience in a process environment.
