Administrator, HMP Swansea, Ongoing temporary position, opportunity to go permanent Your new company HMP Swansea is a category B/C male prison based in a central location. Hays has an exclusive relationships with Her Majesty's Prison Service which makes us the sole agency provider. Your new role The works department is currently looking for a permanent administrator to join there team on a 37.5 hour per week contract. As part of the Works Department you will be responsible for dealing with incoming & internal calls in a responsive and professional manner as well as online ordering, receipting of goods, data logging on Excel and Word, scanning and filing. You must be organised, adhering to strict deadlines and must be able to attain a high level of accuracy in all duties. You will be able to adapt to the use of existing in-house database/facilities management systems and maintain daily responsibilities including data look ups, conversions and data reconciliations. Although you will be working within a prison environment you will have very little if any prisoner contact, you will be based within the works department in their own building/ offices within the prison. What you'll need to succeed Ideally, you must have experience within administration and have a high proficiency in Excel and Word, this will be something you will be tested on.
