Carpentry & Joinery Lecturer £27,051 - £36,651 per annum With the potential of a market supplement, if appropriate 37 hours per week 52 weeks per annum Witney Campus Permanent Are you looking for a fantastic opportunity to pass on your specialist skills to the next generation of construction industry professionals? Are you an experienced Carpentry and Joinery Lecturer looking for their next opportunity at an excellent College? Abingdon & Witney College are looking for a conscientious individual with excellent interpersonal skills to deliver inspirational teaching and learning as part of our successful Construction team. This is an expanding curriculum area and you will be teaching across a range of City and Guilds Carpentry and Joinery courses including apprenticeship work, demonstrating a wide range of both academic and practical skills. The role will be based at our outstanding Construction Skills Centre at our Witney campus. You will be a skilled communicator, have excellent organisational skills and practical experience of working within the construction industry. You should have a Level 3 qualification or equivalent in a Wood Trade and hold recognised teaching and assessing qualifications. However, we are also looking for experienced candidates direct from industry, who are motivated to gain their teaching qualifications as we can offer excellent training and support you in gaining your AET Level 3 Qualification (Education & Training Qualification), within your first year of joining the College. You will maintain the highest standards of health and safety, using innovation within your teaching and assessing to deliver both practical and theory sessions to 14 - 19 year old students.
