Overview

A dynamic business in central Bristol is looking for someone with hands-on experience of managing SEO to join their marketing team. You will be a self-motivated individual with a genuine passion for the ever-changing world of SEO. With a healthy SEO budget, you’ll be working on all areas of SEO including technical, content, on-site optimisation and linking building. You will be responsible for managing and improving organic search performance, using both internal resource and an external SEO agency. What you’ll be doing As the SEO Manager, you’ll be responsible for developing and implementing the SEO a roadmap across 3 key products. This will include monitoring organic rankings and backlinks, performing keyword analysis and competitor analysis using an in-house SEO tool. Additionally, you will conduct regular technical SEO audits of the website and create dashboards to keep stakeholders informed with how organic search is performing. Working closely with the content team and the PR Manager, you will execute link-building campaigns, whilst also providing them with keyword recommendations and reviewing content to ensure it’s optimised for SEO. Finally, you’ll brief SEO requirements into the product team and provide SEO support on web development projects, and implement new structured data on the website to improve search results. What experience you’ll need to apply Proven experience in using effective SEO techniques and measurements. Up-to-date knowledge on algorithm changes, crucial ranking factors and Google Search Quality Guidelines. Ability to work independently as well as managing a working relationship with an SEO agency. Able to conduct SEO analysis using in-house tools. Technical SEO knowledge and ability to brief technical work to the website development agency. A passion for digital, with a good understanding of industry trends within search marketing. Experience co-ordinating and liaising with different departments and stakeholders Understanding of Copywriting for SEO. Experience using Google Search Console, Google Analytics & Google Lighthouse.
