Overview
Ashley Jay Kitchens is a bespoke design studio, based in Findon, West Sussex, focusing on high quality interior and cabinetry design projects. We are seeking a motivated and engaged new member of the team to assist in the creation of designs and management of projects from concept to installation. Role specifications: To assist the lead designers in creating design packages for presentation Transferring designs on to computer software and generating plans, elevations and 3D renders Generating client quotes Answering phones, lead taking and making follow-up calls Showroom walk-and-talks with clients to book design appointments, when lead designers are unavailable. Dealing and liaising with clients and subcontractors Updating CRM system and maintaining client files General administration tasks Ordering product where necessary Compose and post social media content in line with brand styling Assist in composing marketing content, as directed To help and support the Ashley Jay Ltd Team (all team members) Any other duties as required Candidate requirements: Well-presented, fluent English speaker Strong interpersonal skills and experienced working with the public, ideally on high quality projects Experience working with CAD software, and ability to quickly learn a new platform (currently Compusoft Winner) High-level attention to detail Strong sense of initiative Enthusiasm and ability to take direct instruction and work in a team Capable administration skills Eye for design including proportion, colour and balance Candidate must be numerate and able to draw up accurate quotes, calculate discounts and margins. The candidate will also be taught to scale off architects drawings and must be able to do so accurately. Experienced with social media and ability to adapt to Ashley Jay’s brand voice when posting on the company’s behalf. Willingness to get involved; ability to see and fill gaps to assist in company development This role is an initial 12 month appointment, with the potential to extend to a permanent role. Full time role. 5 day working week including Saturdays with a rota day off during the week.
