Overview

Our National Client who specialise in supplying quality fresh fish and seafood to the catering industry in the South West with a prime coastal position; they source, prepare and deliiver fresh and frozen, fish and seafood; directly to professional kitchens. They are looking to recruit a Business Development Manager as an addition to the growing sales team. Field based knowledge of the proposed patch is essential and seafood knowledge would be desirable. Above all a passion for food and the industry is vital for the successful candidate. You will need to: - Work out on in the field within a geographical ‘patch’, as well as visiting the South Devon depot quarterly Work closely with an Account Manager(s) to hit growth targets per quarter and new business expectations Report to the Sales Manager yet manage your own ‘business within a business’ to success. Build trusted relationships with customers at all levels to maintain and grow cash margin in line with business budgets. Preferred Skills / background Be living within travelling distance to either the Buckinghamshire or Bristol areas (patch negotiable within reason around existing Sales team) Recent experience specifically within Seafood sales would be an advantage but is not essential. £28-32k per annum, plus bonuses, company car, phone and laptop £10k per year bonus available (£2.5k per quarter) when hitting/exceeding growth target Uncapped New Business bonus for customers first 12 weeks of trade Immediate interviews are available please apply without delay
