An exciting opportunity has become available to work within the Music, Media and Performance Production department at Leeds City College. Starting in September 2020, a Coach is required to develop our students academic ability. You will be required to support the teaching team to deliver a broad range of activities designed to develop the knowledge and skills students require for their coursework and career progression. The successful candidate must have experience creating individual SMART learning targets and the ability to manage a caseload of students to ensure they receive tutorials and support that meet their needs. You will be working in a dynamic and passionate creative team of teaching staff that work collaboratively with coaching tutors to inspire students to achieve targets and develop their skills to enable progression. You will need to have a background in Further Education academic support as well as experience of the GCSE expectations at Post-16 learning.
