If the answer is yes, then we will be very glad to see you in our team. We are currently looking for an experienced Accounting Assistant to bring their knowledge and support us on this journey. Unlike traditional accounting practices, Our assistant accountants do fewer boring tasks because most of the routine work is done by our software. Hence assistant accountants are focused more on complex situations and client relationships. We are looking for an enthusiastic person, who is not afraid to take responsibilities and who has excellent time management skills. As an accountant assistant, you will always be striving for self-improvement and you will develop your career at your own pace. Role: Manage a portfolio of clients - small and medium businesses, ensuring that all the timelines are followed and the clients love us Independently manage all the accounting and bookkeeping for our clients (including day-to-day bookkeeping, VAT returns preparation, payroll, filing, etc.) Deal with Companies House and HMRC  We encourage our account assistants to identify and implement improvements in order to enhance the reporting processes of the businesses. About you : Previous accounting work experience for at least 1-2 years  Strong accounting knowledge  You are good with numbers, math and problem solving Excellent written and verbal communication skills - you will be communicating with clients a lot via our in-app chat and on the phone Great attention to details  Desire to provide the best possible user experience and client care Desire to make things better by experimenting, trying new things, and driving improvement across the organization.
