Leader in the Life Science industry Huge career potential THE COMPANY : With over 25 years of expertise in their sector, our client is a €multi-million Irish company and a leading supplier of Instrumentation, Reagents and Chemicals, Consumables and Service to the Life Sciences Industry in Ireland. They deal with Universities, the Pharmaceutical and Biotechnology Industry, Research Institutes and Hospital. Due to demand, they are now looking to recruit a new Sales Specialist. THE ROLE: You will have the opportunity to sell the company's full range of products to their well-established customer base, which consists of laboratory managers and technicians and quality control staff within Universities, Pharmaceutical and Biotechnology, Hospitals and other Life Sciences Accounts. Products include lab equipment, consumables and reagents. This role will be predominantly account management, with a focus on upselling new products or services to your existing customer base. Product-specific training is on offer for the new team member here. With such a comprehensive training plan , the role would suit graduates coming from a Life Science degree or those coming from a laboratory background looking to break into sales. FOR THIS ROLE, WE ARE LOOKING FOR INDIVIDUALS WHO MEET THE FOLLOWING CRITERIA: Life Sciences degree is highly desirable Experience selling reagents, chemicals, instrumentation and/or laboratory consumables Broad molecular and cell biology knowledge is essential Experimental experience in PCR, QPCR/QRT-PCR, cloning techniques, sequencing is also advantageous Graduates coming from a Life Science qualification are highly desirable - full sales and product training on offer This role may also suit someone coming from a laboratory background looking to break into sales THE PACKAGE: Salary: €35,000 - €45,000 DOE OTE: €10,000 Mobile, Laptop, Pension, 21 days holidays Fully expensed company car LOCATION : Ideally candidates based in Leinster BMS Performance specialises in recruiting sales professionals, nationally. We recruit within the Industrial, Construction, IT, Engineering, Corporate and FMCG markets.
