Lettings Case Handler

Templeton LPA are looking for an additional Lettings Case Handler to join our dedicated Lettings department based within the central Cardiff office. Templeton LPA was formed in 2008 and quickly became an integral part of the Residential Receivership market, serving many high street banks and building societies. As a market leading firm of LPA Receivers, we always protect the interests of lenders, making sure tenants are treated fairly while helping defaulting borrowers in finding the most appropriate solution for their individual situation; Main Responsibilities: Managing a wide range of properties and the third party suppliers Liaising with local agents to arrange property visits, occupancy checks and discuss rental and sales values Liaising with tenants for initial contact and investigating full tenancy details’ whilst presenting information regarding our management of the property Handling maintenance requests from tenants and ensuring that they are kept up-to-date whilst managing their expectations Instructing and managing contractors to ensure work completed in a timely manner Ensuring statutory safety checks are completed on all properties when required Making sure properties are maintained and all costs are accounted for Reviewing third party reports, collating information and providing sound recommendations to Clients Rent collection from current tenants and ensuring process is followed for any tenants that may fall into rent arrears Knowledge, Skills and Experience: Good attention to detail Experience of managing a case load Strong communication skills - both verbal and written Ability to multi task and prioritise workload to meet deadlines IT literate - particularly Excel Ability to interpret information and use own initiative Minimum Requirements: Previous Lettings/Property Experience Good general education Excellent customer service Punctual Candidates should ideally be located within the Cardiff area Templeton will Offer: A very attractive and competitive salary between £21,000 - £22,000 p/annum depending on experience Work life balance: Monday - Friday, 36.25 hours per week 20 days Holiday Entitlement, plus Bank Holidays (to increase by 1 day per calendar year of service until reaching the 25 day cap) Pension Scheme Plus many more exclusive employee benefits Due to the anticipated high volume of applications for this post we cannot, unfortunately, respond to them all.
