Job Description

The role: As a HR Apprentice, you will be joining and supporting our experienced HR team in providing excellent service across the business. This role will allow you to experience many aspects of the HR function through delivering several administrative tasks such as: Processing new starters Contract writing First line of contact for all HR queries across the business and externally (Email and Phone calls) Processing Return To Work forms Request and respond to all references for past and present employees. Create service desk tickets for relevant issues Filing of all Payroll & HR paperwork Action identification cards for new employees Supporting engagement and well-being initiatives Ad-hoc duties to support the HR team The opportunity: You will gain experience in working as a HR Administrator and will work alongside our HR Assistants to ensure the daily duties of the department are complete. You will develop a greater understanding of how to use Microsoft office when completing tasks. there will be the opportunity to further develop your profile, through completing the CIPD Level 3 qualification, which will require further studies outside of work. Skills and experience: * GCSE English and Maths graded A-C or equivalent * Excellent organisational skills with the ability to work alone * Excellent communication skills with the ability to work at all levels * Excellent time-management skills by being able to manage and prioritise workload * Ability to meet the required deadlines * Competent in Microsoft Office * Remain confidential at all times * Proactive and common-sense approach * Administrative skills (Essential) * Work experience (Desirable)
